You are someone who:

Keeps up to date with social media trends, current events, pop culture and sports
Is fluent in meme culture
Passionate about social media, sports and of course the Portland Pickles
Not afraid to think outside the box (and then outside of that)
Has video editing experience (basic skills)
Has graphic design experience in Photoshop (basic skills)
Is creative! Who loves conceptualizing new ideas for social media and seeing them through
Proficient understanding of the broadcast and digital media space
Comfortable speaking with media outlets

You will be responsible for:

Community management for the Portland Pickles Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts (consistently reply to comments, messages, and engage with local businesses/artists/etc)
Creating a monthly content calendar with graphics, copy, and links
Creating graphics and videos that fit brand identity in Photoshop
Ideating social media activations and/or new concepts
Creating and monitoring ads in Facebook Business manager
Writing copy for social
Pitching media outlets (TV, digital, print) stories on the Pickles and Official League
Assisting in social media strategy for other COLLiDE properties

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to collaborate in a team environment
Should have at least one to two years in social media brand experience
Must be flexible(as sports are at all times) and available to work evenings and/or weekends, nights, and holidays
Must be a passionate sports fans (not a yankees fan)
Must be a good human who works well with other good humans

About Portland Pickles Baseball:

The Portland Pickles are a collegiate wood-bat baseball team founded in 2015 and based in Portland, Oregon. The team is a member of the West Coast League and plays home games at Walker Stadium in Portland’s Lents Park.
