Status: Seasonal (Fall/Winter/Spring)
The Portland Bangers FC are looking for a skilled individual to assist in the day-to-day operations of the digital marketing staff. This will involve creating digital assets, assisting with ideas and campaigns, interacting with the online community, and more. You will be reporting directly to the Social Media & Content Director.
Notables:
- This is a hybrid position but Applicants MUST be able to work on site in Portland, OR.
- Applicants can expect to work up to 20 hours a week.
- Applicants should possess soccer/football knowledge.
- Applicants should possess professionalism with clients and fans.
- Google Application skills essential.
- Good communication skills are essential.
- Ability to follow directions and complete the task at hand.
- Prior experience with social media strongly preferred.
- Experience with short-form video content creation is preferred.
- Creative problem-solving skills desired.
Tasks, Roles & What You Will Be Helping With:
- Content Creation - Helping produce engaging and visually appealing content with a strong emphasis on short-form video content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. Responsibilities may include graphics, videos, written posts, and partnership fulfillment
- Community Engagement - Monitoring and interacting with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and feedback in a sassy, upbeat manner that aligns with the Bangers voice. Fostering a positive and interactive online atmosphere.
- Content Management - Organizing and tagging content in ScorePlay, basic photo selection and cropping for optimal social media presentation.
- Public Outreach - Reaching out to partners, news outlets, influencers, and community members to generate interest in specific campaigns and the Portland Bangers FC brand.
- Campaign Support - Collaborating on the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns, promotions, and contests to drive fan engagement, merch/ticket sales, and match attendance.

Preferred candidates are pursuing college credit for the internship. This is an unpaid position.
