The Opportunity
Are you a high-energy "go-getter", looking to fast-track your career in sports and entertainment management? We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and hungry Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage Operations to serve as the right-hand (Number 2) to our Director.

This isn't a desk job. You’ll be in the trenches of stadium life, learning the business from the inside out, from financial modeling and procurement to leading a crew of 50+ on a sold-out game night. If you are a proactive problem-solver who is eager to learn the "how" and "why" behind a profitable venue, this is your playground.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Financial Apprenticeship
  • Procurement & Vendor Relations: Own the full procurement cycle. You’ll help order all F&B supplies, coordinate deliveries, and act as the gatekeeper for vendor invoices, ensuring every dollar spent is accounted for.
  • Team Growth & Compliance: Lead the charge on seasonal hiring and onboarding. You’ll ensure 100% compliance with OLCC and Food Handler certifications, conducting orientations that set the tone for excellence.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Keep the engine running by overseeing OSHA compliance and scheduling preventive maintenance for all equipment.

2. Venue Activation & "Seasonality"
  • Pre-Season Launch: Lead the physical build-out of the stadium. From inventorying gear to scheduling crews to build tents and grills, you make sure we are "Opening Day" ready.
  • Facility Readiness: Manage deep cleans and utility checks across all concessions.
  • Winterization: When the final whistle blows, you lead the decommission process, ensuring all equipment is stored safely and inventoried for next year.

3. Game Day Command
  • The Setup: Direct the deployment of all concessions (tents, grills, mobile units) for Pickles, Bangers, and Cherry Bombs FC matches. You’ll verify POS systems and ensure "Partner of the Game" promotions are staged perfectly.
  • Supervision: Assist needs for 50+ staff, resolving fan complaints, fixing POS glitches, and coaching the team through the rush.
  • The Reset: Oversee the post-game breakdown, audit food waste against Square sales, and analyze Sales vs. Labor metrics to provide suggestions on how we can improve the "per cap" spend for the next game.

Who You Are
  • Responsible & Disciplined: You understand that "close enough" isn't good enough when it comes to financial data or food safety.
  • A Lifelong Learner: You might be early in your career, but you have an insatiable appetite for learning the business side of sports and hospitality.
  • The Calm in the Storm: You can assist staff needs and a rowdy crowd with a level head and a smile.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with POS systems (Square).

What We Offer
  • A front row seat to sports management and venue operations.
  • Direct mentorship from industry veterans.
  • The chance to own projects and see your financial optimizations impact the bottom line in real-time.
  • A fast-paced, high-energy environment where no two days are the same.
