Clubhouse Manager (Seasonal)
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are seeking a Clubhouse Manager for the 2026 season (May–September). This seasonal position requires availability for all Scrappers home games and reports to the Assistant General Manager of Operations and the General Manager.
Responsibilities
Clubhouse & Equipment Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the home clubhouse, visiting clubhouse, and umpires’ room, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional environment.
- Manage laundry services for home and visiting teams, including game and batting practice uniforms.
- Maintain uniform and equipment inventory throughout the season, including pre- and post-season organization.
- Load, unload, and prepare equipment for road trips and player transactions.
- Coordinate batting practice equipment with coaches and assist with transport to and from the field.
Administrative & Game-Day Support
- Coordinate and assist with pre- and post-game meals for players and coaches (home and visiting).
- Organize receipts and purchases and communicate with the team accountant as needed.
- Handle mail distribution for players and staff.
- Manage the bat boy schedule.
- Serve as a liaison between the front office and on-field staff, assisting with player appearances, autograph sessions, and jersey auctions.
Qualifications
- Passion for baseball and general knowledge of the game.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift and move equipment in a fast-paced environment.
