Position Overview
The Frederick Keys are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our font office team. This position will play a vital role in shaping the Keys’ fan experience, enhancing our digital presence, and elevating in-game entertainment. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in day-to-day marketing operations, content creation, social media management, and live game production. This is an ideal position for a motivated professional looking to contribute to a high-performing team , engage with fans, and gain experience in sports marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Digital Marketing
- Lead the creation of engaging content for Keys’ social media channels (graphics, photos, video, copywriting).
- Produce and edit short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
- Coordinate execution of the social media calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to generate creative ideas for fan engagement campaigns.
- Marketing & Communications Support
- Assist with design and graphics for marketing materials, digital ads, and in-stadium assets.
- Contribute creative elements to the team’s email newsletter and fan communications.
- Track performance of social media campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
- Support community relations and grassroots marketing efforts when needed.
- Game Day Entertainment & Production
- Serve as the game day production lead, overseeing press box staff and ensuring the in-game show runs smoothly from first pitch to final out.
- Assist with on-field promotions and fan engagement activities, working closely with game day staff.
- Manage and operate in-stadium video board content and music programming, ensuring music license compliance.
- Support execution of theme nights, giveaways, and fan experience initiatives.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Supervise part-time press box staff and interns on gamedays.
- Work closely with the promotions, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of fan-facing initiatives.
- Provide input on new marketing ideas, promotions, and digital strategies.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in sports marketing, communications, or related field (internship or team experience preferred).
- Strong creative skills in graphic design and video production (Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools required).
- Experience managing social media accounts for a brand, team, or organization.
- Knowledge of live event production, music-licensing, and in-game entertainment is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for baseball, live events, and creating memorable fan experiences.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the game schedule.

Attain Partners, the owner of the Frederick Keys, is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging between $38,000 - $42,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
