Position Overview:
The Box Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the box office operations for the Frederick Keys, including ticketing systems, daily ticket sales, game-day operations, and customer service. In addition, this role will carry an annual ticket sales goal, focusing on group outings, hospitality areas, and season ticket packages. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and motivated by sales results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Box Office Operations
    • Manage all box office operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and supervision of game-day ticket sellers.
    • Oversee and maintain the ticketing system (account creation, ticket printing, scanning, reporting).
    • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of ticket sales, cash handling, and financial reporting.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and promotions team to implement ticket offers, special events, and promotions.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to all fans, resolving ticketing issues promptly.
  • Ticket Sales
    • Prospect, sell, and service ticket sales packages, including group outings, season ticket plans, and mini plans.
    • Meet or exceed assigned ticket sales goals on a yearly basis.
    • Maintain regular communication and relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and renewals.
    • Actively participate in outbound sales efforts including calls, meetings, networking events, and community appearances.
    • Assist in developing and executing ticket sales campaigns to drive attendance and revenue growth.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of box office, ticketing, or sales experience in sports, entertainment, or live events.
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing systems (TicketReturn preferred).
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required during the baseball season.

Attain Partners, the owner of the Frederick Keys, is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging between $40,000 - $45,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
