Front Office & Ticketing Assistant
Position Summary
The Front Office & Ticketing Assistant is the first point of contact for visitors and callers to the Daytona Tortugas offices, providing a professional, welcoming, and efficient experience. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for all guests while supporting front office operations and ticketing activities for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a high-volume, multi-line phone system, receiving, screening, and directing calls professionally.
- Sell and print single-game tickets and ticket packages, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage ticket distribution and assist with day-to-day ticketing operations using the Tickets.com.
- Greet guests, visitors, and job applicants, announcing arrivals as appropriate and ensuring a positive experience.
- Respond to general inquiries and route them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, tracking packages, and monitoring mailroom operations.
- Provide administrative support, including filing, invoice processing, labeling, and document copying.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Some college coursework preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in administrative support.
- Comfortable operating a high-volume, multi-line phone system.
- Experience with ticketing systems or cash handling is a plus.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to sit for extended periods and manage a front desk environment.
