Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Provide rehabilitative and preventative care services for Minor League athletes.
- Participate in all Fort Myers-based programs including January Camp, Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, Instructional Ball, and Off-Season Rehab.
- Coordinate and facilitate physician appointments for players as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records within the EMR system.
- Complete injury reporting and documentation procedures in a timely manner.
- Assist with the education and mentorship of students, interns, and staff.
- Perform various administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- Master’s and/or Doctor of Physical Therapy.
- Good standing with the APTA.
- License eligibility in Florida.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Energetic and hard-working individual.
- Ability to communicate effectively with players, the medical team, and baseball operations personnel.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Prior baseball experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Combined PT/ATC.
