Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Support the Kernels’ Baseball Technology Coordinator/Fellow with all daily responsibilities when the team is at home. Work with the coaching staff and other Twins personnel by operating and maintaining various technologies we have at the affiliate.
- Use tools to collect video and data that provide feedback on both Twins and other organization's minor league players.
Required Experience and Education:
- College student or recent college graduate.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Solid understanding of baseball.
- Excellent computer and communication skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Willing and able to relocate and travel throughout the season.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with baseball technology such as ball tracking systems (e.g., Hawk-Eye, Trackman, Rapsodo) and training tools (e.g., Blast, Hittrax).
- Knowledge of baseball statistics that relate to the systems above.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Time Commitment: March 2026 - October 2026.
Hours: 40 hours/week.
Compensation: Hourly rate of $18.00/hour.
Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
