Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support in all areas of the Amateur draft process including draft meeting preparation, draft days, and post-draft player logistics. This includes event and catering planning, and venue set up.
  • Collect player information and ensure all the profiles have the necessary information needed by the Scouting Department.
  • Ensure High School and Event rosters are uploaded to the system in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate in the process of international players investigations and drug test.
  • Assess data quality from the different sources and do player ID matching to ensure data is running through the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with data owners and subject matter experts to resolve data quality issues and perform data cleansing activities as necessary.
  • Monitor metrics and generate reports as needed to report to department leaders.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out of players in the Dominican Republic Academy.
  • Assisting in various administrative support tasks throughout the fellowship, as needed.  
Required Experience and Education: 
  • Recent graduates, or others beginning their career. 
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail. 
  • Positive and proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. 
  • Problem solving and adaptability is mandatory. 
  • Ability to foster and maintain meaningful relationships. 
  • Fluency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of Baseball. 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Experience working for an athletic department or team. 
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. 
 
Time Commitment: March 2026 - October 2026. 
Hours: 40 hours/week. 
Compensation: Hourly rate of $18.00/hour.
