Position Summary:
The Minnesota Twins are seeking a data-driven CRM & Audience Strategist to support the Club’s ticket sales growth and fan communication strategy in close collaboration with the Ticket Sales & Service and Marketing departments.
 
This role will oversee and optimize our ticket sales CRM and sales automation platforms while partnering closely with Marketing to leverage segmentation and audience activation tools. This role will collaborate with the Technology department to drive platform enhancements and optimize campaign workflows, data pipelines, and integrations. The position blends CRM platform management, audience segmentation, campaign analytics, and performance evaluation to drive measurable business impact.
 
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, hands-on CRM experience, and the ability to translate campaign performance data into strategic recommendations. Final title and level may be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.

  • CRM & Sales Enablement
    • Oversee the day-to-day strategy and operations of our ticket sales CRM and sales automation platforms to support the Ticket Sales & Service department’s efforts.
    • Establish and enforce CRM data governance standards, hygiene best practices, and process documentation to ensure reporting integrity.
    • Partner with the Technology department to enhance the Club’s sales and marketing technology systems by identifying improvement opportunities.
    • Develop segmentation strategies supporting acquisition and renewal initiatives.
    • Lead campaign measurement and analysis, attribution logic, and sales pipeline reporting frameworks.
    • Partner with Ticket Sales & Service leadership to enhance CRM adoption, workflow efficiency, and confidence in reporting.
  • Audience Strategy & Implementation
    • Build, refine, and activate audience segments within our central fan data and audience activation platforms in collaboration with Marketing.
    • Provide performance insights to inform campaign journey optimization and personalization.
    • Define standardized key performance indicators across ticket sales and marketing campaigns.
    • Translate business requirements into clearly defined and actionable deliverables.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance fan communication consistency.
Requirement Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in CRM, marketing analytics, audience strategy, or related roles.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, or audience segmentation/activation systems. (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, Adobe Experience Suite, or similar)
  • Experience reporting on KPIs to measure campaign, sales, or audience performance.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Proficient in analytics and reporting tools, with an ability to create clear dashboards or reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements into structured analytical, technical, or project deliverables.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience in professional sports, ticketing, or live entertainment environments.
  • Ability to use SQL to extract, analyze, and manipulate complex data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms including hands-on journey or workflow creation.
  • Experience with campaign testing frameworks (A/B testing, cohort analysis, lift analysis) and performance optimization.
Location: Minneapolis, MN. This position will require the hired individual to work in person in a hybrid capacity.
 
Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000 annually. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus, which varies based on company and individual performance. Total cash compensation will depend on bonus payouts and will likely exceed base salary.
