Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries for players at the Dominican Academy and Dominican Summer League in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
  • Cover season, camps, and other assigned activities at the academy. 
  • Coordinate and facilitate physician appointments for players as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records with the electronic medical record (EMR) system. 
  • Complete required reporting procedures and perform various administrative duties as assigned. 
  • Collaborate daily with High Performance staff, team physician(s), front office personnel, and other staff members to ensure comprehensive player care.
  • Work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
Required Experience and Education: 
  • NATABOC Certified and in good standing with the NATA.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Energetic and hard-working individual. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with players, medical team, and baseball operations. 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
  • Prior baseball experience. 
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
