Position Summary:
The Associate, Office Services role provides service and support for Target Field staff by assisting in the areas of shipping/receiving, material handling, and facility operations. The person in this position operates material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and office equipment on a daily basis. The Associate, Office Services assists the Manager, Office Services with delivering handling and shipment processing.
This is an office-focused role that requires the hired individual to be onsite at Target Field, Monday through Friday. Hours are flexible within reason.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Move delivery items via forklift, pallet jack, cart, or by hand from the point of delivery to designated recipient or storage area.
- Process and deliver incoming mail and packages to on-site personnel.
- Process outgoing mail and shipments.
- Assist with management of supply inventories.
- Assist in the coordination of team-controlled storage facilities, both on and off site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- Experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, mail processing, or loading dock operations.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (Company will provide training and certification).
- Strong organizational and task management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Ability to be flexible and work within the schedule of various departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work in a seated position for the majority of the workday.
- Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, dining room, etc.
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment and obtain appropriate certification.
Compensation: Hourly rate of $19/hour with an anticipated commitment of 32 hours per week. This position would be eligible to enroll in our Medical Value plan.
