Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsibilities include participation in January Camp, Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, and the Complex Season, with potential October/November camps in Fort Myers.
- Assist the Head Athletic Trainer with all aspects of player care, including short-term rehabs.
- Provide coverage for all home and away games.
- Assist with medical doctor (MD) appointments and related coordination.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Support organization and upkeep of the athletic training room.
- Assist with travel preparation, including trunks, inventory management, and field setup.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Minor League Medical Services.
Required Experience and Education:
- NATABOC Certified and in good standing with the NATA.
- Eligible for state licensure.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Energetic & hard-working individual.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals including players, High Performance Team members, coaching staff, and front office members.
- Well versed in evidence-based practice in athletic training.
- Proficient in injury assessment, treatment and preventative care specific to baseball sports medicine.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Master's in athletic training.
- Prior baseball experience.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
