Overview
Summary:
Under the direction of the Director - Retail Sales and Operations, this position will focus on the sales and promotion of Authentics memorabilia located at the Authentics Retail Kiosk and help service front office merchandise orders.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Provides support to the Senior Manager – Authentics
  • Promotes sale of Brewers Authentic merchandise at the Authentics Kiosk during games
  • Build a customer/client base to increase sales of Brewers Authentic merchandise
  • Assist in merchandising products and displays at the Authentics Kiosk and retail stores.
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of Authentics Kiosk.
  • Assist in other ad hoc projects in stores as needed.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Qualified candidates must have strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills, including some proficiency and experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum two years of retail experience; Sports retail a plus.
  • Prior experience working with point of sale (POS) system required.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required

Computer Skills  
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.    
 
Language Skills                                                
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
 
Mathematical Skills                                                     
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
 
Reasoning Ability      
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus to distinguish merchandise and operate point-of-sale system.
 
Employee must have ability to stand for entire length of shift; walk up and down stairs frequently; Bend, reach and/or climb on step stool/ladder.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, which may include heat, cold and various forms of precipitation. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate-loud.
 
Work Hours                                                     
Candidates are expected to work a minimum 50 home games during the season, preferably all (81) home games (including evenings, weekends and holidays, if necessary); averaging 15-20 hours per week (more during home games).
