The South Bend Cubs are the High-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. Over the past 35 seasons, the team has won five Midwest League titles, most recently in 2022, and captured nine division titles. In 2023, the organization was selected as the Single-A Bob Freitas Award recipient by Baseball America. Four Winds Field, home of the South Bend Cubs, was voted Best High-A ballpark in the country by Ballpark Digest in 2022 and 2023, having also won the award as a Low-A ballpark in 2017. The team recently broke ground on a 48-million-dollar stadium renovation, which will be established at the beginning of the 2026 season. 
Premium Hospitality Internship 

Overall Internship Description: The Premium Hospitality internship position helps in many different aspects of our Food and Beverage Department, including, but not limited to luxury suites, luxury seating areas, VIP group areas, catered events, etc. The Premium Hospitality Intern will report directly to the Food and Beverage Department. Duties & Responsibilities:
 · Assist in all aspects of Food and Beverage operations for all baseball games and special events (non-baseball games) at Four Winds Field.
· Assist in managing all Luxury Suites and VIP Group Areas for all of the South Bend Cubs home games.
· Supervise suite and catering attendants and serve as a liaison between catering kitchen staff, suite attendants, hourly staff, and full time staff. 
· Responsible for helping take and maintain orders and communicate orders to the kitchen staff. 
· Assist in managing a staff of approximately 30 seasonal staff members.
· Collaborate with Catering Manager in hiring, scheduling, directing, training, and supervising all direct subordinates in the performance of their duties.
· Ensure the suites, kitchen, and store rooms remain clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked.
· Supervise the back of house and front of house employees to ensure proper food preparation, delivery, and timeliness are achieved.
  • Ensures high quality, good-tasting and well-presented food and beverages are served within established time frames.
· Maintain ballpark standards and cleanliness.
· Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities Required: The applicant should be a self-motivator who thrives in a team and fast paced environment; possesses good interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to work effectively with attention to detail in a high- volume sales environment; ability to communicate clearly and resolve guest conflicts; goal oriented; quick learner; maintain a positive attitude toward full time and part time staff members. Interns will work similar hours to a Full Time staff member during the season, 

Pay: $15 / hour. SERV Safe Food and Alcohol training will be provided.
Start Date: March 2026 (Spring 2026)
End Date: September 2026
