The Lake County Captains are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Videographer to enhance our social media presence with innovative video content. Join the top social media team in Minor League Baseball, where you'll have a key role in capturing, editing, and producing videos that highlight our promising prospects, exciting promotions, and dedicated fans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend all home games at Classic Auto Group Park to capture high-quality, game-day footage. The opportunity to shoot outside events including but not limited to the NCAA DIII Championship Tournament and the Annual Celebrity Softball Game.
  • Create and edit videos featuring players, fans, and community moments as directed by the Social Media Manager.
  • Organize and upload game footage to Google Drive promptly after games.
  • Add graphics, effects, and music to enhance video content and elevate its storytelling appeal.
  • Collaborate with the Captains Media to develop and execute creative concepts.
  • Coordinate with athletes and field staff to produce compelling content that promotes the Captains brand.
  • Assist in copywriting, content curation, and brainstorming new ideas for MiLB activations and initiatives.
  • Support best practices in content creation, crisis management, and community engagement.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned by the Social Media Manager or General Manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven sports videography experience, ideally in baseball.
  • Expertise in video cameras, audio equipment, and video editing software.
  • Keen eye for detail to capture and highlight critical game moments.
  • Creative flair for producing visually compelling and engaging video content.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover games and special events.
