This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in the full corporate partnerships lifecycle, including sales support, partnership activation, client hospitality, and game day execution in a fast-paced, fan-focused environment.
Position Overview
The Corporate Partnerships Intern will play a key role in supporting both corporate partnership sales and activation within the Captains organization. This individual will be actively involved in all 66 home games, as well as additional team and community events throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and conduct outreach to potential new partners
- Assist in setting and attending client meetings
- Support the creation of partnership proposals and sales materials
- Help execute and activate partnerships, including coordination with marketing and promotions, in-game elements, and proof of performance
- Assist with planning and executing client hospitality events and experiences
- Maintain and update partnership information in CRM systems (e.g., KORE)
- Track and manage partnership assets to ensure proper fulfillment
- Support game day execution of corporate partnerships and activations
- Assist in capturing content and compiling proof-of-performance reports
- Conduct research on prospective partners and industry trends
- Collaborate with and support other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
- Dependable and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Interest in corporate partnerships, sales, and client relationship management preferred
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus
