Position in the corporate structure: The Assistant Clubhouse Manager will report directly to the Field Manager and Senior Director of Operations & Turf Management. Along with oversight from the Senior Director of Operations & Turf Management, the Assistant Clubhouse Manager will oversee the part-time, seasonal staff and work in conjunction with the Home Clubhouse Manager. The Visiting Clubhouse manager position is seasonal. Start and end dates vary based on game schedule and post-season schedule. 

Duties 

• Perform all duties pertaining to the Captains, visitor’s and umpire’s clubhouses at Classic Auto Group Park. Duties will include, but are not limited to: 

• Cleaning of all clubhouses; including vacuuming, cleaning of bathrooms and showers, picking up and organizing equipment, taking out trash, replenishing all bathroom and shower essentials, organizing and cleaning trainer’s room, organizing and cleaning manager’s office, organizing and cleaning the Captains workout room and trainer’s area. 

• Organizing and cleaning both dugouts and getting equipment ready for batting practice and each game, which includes but is not limited to: getting game balls to the umpire room, getting game bats ready, getting batting practice and game uniforms ready and hanging in each locker. 

• Doing all of the Captains laundry during and after all home games, which includes but is not limited to: towels, uniforms and uniform accessories + Shoes that batboys help with post game. 

• Work with the Director of Food & Beverage to provide post-game meals. 

• Determine ways to be creative and economical in meeting player and coaching staff needs within the clubhouse to ensure Lake County is the leader in setting the standard for excellence in the League. • Interact on a business professional level with all players, coaches and Guardians staff that you come in contact with throughout the season.
● Work with the marketing/ticketing department to ensure team and media requests are completed ● Work with the events team to schedule players for the 3 Day Baseball Camp & Play Ball weekend as well as other events determined by the Manager & GM. 

● Check in with umpire crew at arrival of homestand and daily afterwards 

• Work with the Director of Stadium Operations in handling the disbursement of team-issued equipment upon player arrival and also throughout the season. This includes, but is not limited to: 

• Assigning all uniform components to each player upon arrival to Lake County, assigning locker space to each player.. 

• Replenishing the entire team with new game caps at the beginning and middle of season. • Recovering all equipment upon player’s departure from Lake County and final check out of players upon departure from Lake County. 

• Presenting an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all equipment to the General Manager when requested. • Purchasing, preparing and organizing all meals for the Captains players before and after all home games. This includes but is not limited to: 

• Ensuring snack items (as outlined by the PDL) are available in the clubhouse area before every home game. 

● Use GFS ordering system for on site delivery 

• By coordinating with the Director of Food & Beverage, ensure that a team meal is arranged to be catered to the visiting clubhouse 

• Preparing and organizing snack food items for the Umpire’s before game time and ensuring that a small meal is available to them after the game (provided by the Captains). 

• The Visiting Clubhouse Manager will be in charge of preparing the team for road trips which includes ensuring all equipment is accounted for and ready. 

• With the Director of Stadium Operations/Senior Director of Field Turf, assist in the supervision of all batboys, which includes but is not limited to, the scheduling of work time and oversight of all batboy duties.

 • Ensure that both dugouts are properly prepared and presentable at all times prior to games in adherence to player and coaching staff expectations.
• Ensure that the Captains are in compliance for all league-mandated rules and regulations related to home, visiting and umpire clubhouse operations. 
● Ensure that the Captains are compliant with all PDL Cleanliness Standards 

Pre-season duties: 
• Assist the Director of Stadium Operations in the inventory and organization of all equipment for dispersal. • Clean and organize Captains and visitors clubhouses in preparation for team arrival. • With the Director of Stadium Operations, organize and prepare equipment storage areas for easy accessibility and also develop a working checkout sheet for equipment dispersal. 

• Ensure that laundry machines are in operating condition. 

• Clean and organize umpire’s clubhouse, storage rooms and batting cage 

Post-season duties: 

• Assist the Director of Stadium Operations in the inventory and organization of all equipment for the off season. • Deep clean and organize Captains and visitor’s clubhouses. 

• Deep clean and organize weight room, umpire and female staff clubhouses 

In-season duties: 

• Work as a member of a team. 

• Maintain a clean and healthy environment in the Captains clubhouse and batting cage at all times. • Represent the Captains in a professional manner. 

PDL Requirements:
Cleaning the entire clubhouse on a daily basis. This includes vacuuming the entire clubhouse, emptying all trash cans, removing all trash from 

clubhouse, etc. Clubhouse attendants shall not be exclusively responsible 

for compliance with the Cleaning and Sanitation Protocols developed in 

accordance with Section 5.1 of the Facility Standards 

ii. Cleaning and polishing one (1) pair of shoes per player, coach, and manager per day 

iii. Cleaning team uniforms, personal laundry for on-field personnel laundry, and towels on a daily basis 

iv. General availability for errands, etc., at all times commencing with the team’s arrival and lasting until post game departure 

v. Coordinating and assisting with team’s arrival and departure 

vi. Stocking the dugouts and bullpen areas with water, Gatorade (or equivalent), seeds, gum, and cups 

vii. Stock toiletries in the bathrooms and shower areas 

viii. Providing the trainer with towels during the game 

ix. Coordinating the delivery, staging, and clean-up of meals served to players and staff 

b. The PDL Club will be responsible for providing standard clubhouse amenities (e.g., towels, beverages, snacks, toiletries, etc.) in both the home and visiting clubhouse, as agreed to by the Executive Board. 

c. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Section H, the Major League Baseball Club shall make a reimbursement (“Clubhouse Attendant Reimbursement”) to the PDL Club in accordance with the table below for each game scheduled at the commencement of the playing season.
