Overall Job Description: This internship position helps the Orchard Team Store and Korte Kids Zone. Gain plenty of experience from running a store, quick problem solving techniques, to training staff members. Main contact during the season is Jessica Thompson.

·      Responsible for keeping the store stocked and clean daily

·      Tag, fold and label orders as they arrive

·      Help run the team store during the day and during TinCaps games

·      Help hire and train gameday staff for both The Orchard Team Store and the Korte Kids Zone

·      Help set up store layouts

·      Take pictures of new items for POS and online usage

·      Help determine Item of the Game and coordinate with video production for gameday slides

·      Manage the Korte Kids Zone staff

·      Responsible for scheduling over 20 employees

·      Process and ship online orders on a daily basis

·      Personalize shirts and jerseys, and help customers in the store

·      Go on mascot appearances both as the mascot and as the team representative

·      Other duties as assigned

 

·      Ability to handle a variety of projects

·      Ability to multi-task and problem solve

·      Strong customer service skills

·      Move large boxes and bins from the floor to the storage area

·      Proficiency in working with a team

·      Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

·      Willingness to work long hours

·      General knowledge of baseball
