Job Title: Main Kitchen Assistant (Cook/General Help)

- In this role you may be asked to complete a variety of general Kitchen tasks:
  • Food Prep
  • Cooking (Oven, Fryer, Grill)
  • Dishwashing / Kitchen Clean Up

Salary: Hourly Wage (Year around)
  • Helps with both game and event Schedule (Roughly 30 hours/week).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Description: 
  • Reports directly to our Chef and Sous chef.
  • responsible for the food preparation, execution, and delivery of safely handled food to the customer facing employees for service.
  • report for scheduled event on time and report to assigned area in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly setting within the kitchen to prevent damage or injury.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors, Kitchen Staff, Runners, Chefs and Parkview Field Management.
  • Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties.
  • Prepare food items by complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures.
  • Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product.

Qualifications
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
  • Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, speak and write in English.
  • Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary training preferred
  • Past Experience in Kitchens is preferred.
