RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and produce effective and engaging design solutions for video and web.
- Develop video for various brands and campaigns through the entire process from ideation to final deliverables. (includes but not limited to filming, audio/video editing, animation, timing, compression and distribution).
- Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layouts for approval to various departments.
- Work cooperatively in a team environment, regularly collaborating with other designers, as well as taking direction from senior team members.
- Completes projects by coordinating with clients, art services, etc.
- Maintain a knowledge of current production and design trends in sports, and pop culture.
- Innovate by exploring ways to improve existing material.
- Formulate and pitch concepts.
- Lead/participate in brainstorming.
SKILLS
- Demonstrated experience with After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator,
- Knowledge of video formats and compression.
- Control room and game day production knowledge.
- Excellent organizational, communication and detail-oriented skills required.
- Take direction well and have positive “can-do” work ethic.
- Always exploring new tools/plugins and software to share with team and expand skills.
- Understanding of how to present work to the team and handle constructive critiques.
- Familiarity with producing content for live sports production environments.
- Experience with any of the following is helpful: Daktronics Show Control, Chyron Click Effects, Ross Xpression, Newtek Tricaster, audio mixers, broadcast cameras, video routing, monitoring, and/or patching.
