Visiting Clubhouse Manager:
The Visiting Clubhouse Manager for the Cedar Rapids Kernels gives a behind the scenes look at how a locker room is run. The Visiting Clubhouse Manger is responsible for but not limited to:
- Assisting with set up of the locker room and other visiting team areas prior to the start of the season
- Maintaining a clean clubhouse, cleaning the restrooms and sinks.
- Collaborating with the Home team clubbie to stock the commissary with snacks required by MLB
- Coordinating arrival time with visiting teams
- Getting laundry to and from visiting clubhouse - ensuring laundry is cleaned, dried, and hung up for the next game
- Helping the Home Clubhouse Manger as needed
- Assisting in putting the tarp on and off the field as needed
- Making sure the dugout is set up pre game and cleaned post-game

The Visiting Clubhouse Manager is a physically demanding job. Perspective applicants should be able to be on their feet for long periods of time multiple days a week, as well as be able to lift at least 50 LBS. Applicants need to be willing to work long hours during game weeks, 14-16 hours a day is typical during a homestand. Although the hours may be long, this position is flexible with plenty of days off while the team is on the road. Perspective applicants should be able to start immediately and be able to work through September.
