As a Sky Carp Intern, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience, develop new skills, and build confidence working in the sports and entertainment industry. The Beloit Sky Carp videographer intern is ready to capture the fun we have here at ABC Supply Stadium in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a highly motivated, creative, and sports-minded individual who’s eager to grow every single day. Someone who’s passionate about storytelling and is ready to capture everything the Sky Carp has to offer.
Responsibilities
• Create high-quality long- and short-form video content, including promotional pieces, team store features, baseball highlights, family-friendly atmosphere videos, and more.
• Quick turnaround of content during home games for social media.
• Ability to shoot for commercial use
• Shooting and editing video content for various needs of the Marketing and Promotions Department.
• Content Management of video footage
• Capture fan and baseball photos
• Create content to use during off-season
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite with focus on Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
• Knowledge of cameras
• Attention to detail
• Pursuing a career in sports
• Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn preferred
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Have reliable transportation
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period, lift to 30 pounds, and use standard office equipment, including computers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an internship position. The days and hours will vary according to business needs, including evening and weekend work.
