Program Description
The Miami Marlins Sports Pathways Program is a ten-month, work-study internship designed to provide college and university students with meaningful, hands-on experience in the sports industry. Participants gain exposure to the business operations of a Major League Baseball organization while applying classroom concepts in a professional setting.

This immersive program allows students to contribute to departmental initiatives, collaborate with front office professionals, and develop the skills necessary for a successful career in sports and entertainment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participate in real-world projects that align with departmental and organizational goals
  • Support day-to-day business operations within the Miami Marlins Front Office
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to develop professional and interpersonal skills
  • Apply academic knowledge to practical workplace situations, enhancing overall career readiness
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and game days as required

Candidate Profile / Desired Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program during the program term, or have completed a degree within the past twelve (12) months
  • Demonstrated interest in business operations and/or the sports industry
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and home games as needed
  • Commitment to the full program duration (January 20 – October 31, 2026)

  5. At a Marlins community event, how would you encourage fans or kids to actively participate and make the experience memorable for them?

  6. When the team is managing a busy stretch of home games, how would you take initiative to support your teammates and ensure operations continue to run smoothly?

  7. You’re asked to update sponsor reports with attendance and activation data. How would you make sure the information is accurate before handing it off?
