Technical Services: Scoreboard Operations
Position Summary:  
As the Scorekeeper, you will be responsible for scoring all aspects of the game to ensure all displayed stats are updated and accurate throughout the entirety of the game.
Essential Functions: 
  • Oversee pre-game setup of all stats equipment
  • Compare pre-game input of game officials, rosters, etc.
  • Input all stats and information throughout the entire game
  • Have clear understanding of Major League Baseball rules
  • Validate all stats throughout the game with Dak Stats program and Official Scorer to ensure 100% accuracy
  • Must work well with computers 
  • Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Must be able to take direction and apply directions quickly and effectively

Qualifications & Requirements:             
  • Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be comfortable to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Keep a professional demeanor with the ability to interact with fans, staff members, players, coaches and front office executives
  • Able to attend most if not all home Marlins games and arrive two hours before game time for each game
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 5+ years of live production experience 
  • Previous scorekeeping experience with professional, college or high school teams required
Knowledge and previous working experience with Daktronics Dak Stats preferred
