Position Summary:  
The Miami Marlins are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator, Marketing to serve as a central point of coordination across the organization’s marketing initiatives. This role will drive execution across campaigns, creative services, and cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and on-time delivery.  This position will connect Marketing, Creative Services, Ticketing, Partnerships, and other key stakeholders—bringing structure, visibility, and prioritization to all marketing-related work.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings clarity to complex workflows, and can balance competing priorities while keeping teams aligned and accountable.

Essential Functions: 

Marketing Project Coordination
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of marketing projects from intake through execution and delivery 
  • Manage campaign timelines across email, digital, social, paid media, in-ballpark, and promotional initiatives 
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, calendars, and task tracking across all marketing efforts 
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals 

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Serve as the central hub between Marketing, Creative Services, Ticketing, Partnerships, Analytics, and other departments 
  • Translate business needs into clear project plans and actionable deliverables 
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders, ensuring clarity on priorities, timelines, and expectations 
  • Lead regular status meetings and provide visibility into project progress and risks 

Creative Services Integration
  • Partner closely with Creative Services (design, video, copy, social) to manage intake, workflow, and prioritization 
  • Ensure creative resources are allocated effectively based on business priorities and deadlines 
  • Maintain clear and consistent creative briefs and ensure deliverables meet brand and campaign objectives 
  • Balance creative capacity with marketing demand, proactively managing trade-offs and timelines 

Prioritization & Resource Management
  • Own and manage the prioritization framework for marketing and creative work across the organization 
  • Continuously assess workload and adjust priorities based on real-time business needs 
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to keep projects moving efficiently 
  • Ensure high-impact initiatives are appropriately prioritized and resourced 

Process & Operations Optimization
  • Build and refine scalable workflows for marketing and creative operations 
  • Implement and manage project management tools (e.g. Wrike) 
  • Establish best practices for intake, approvals, and cross-team collaboration 
  • Drive continuous improvement in speed, efficiency, and transparency across marketing operations 

Communication & Reporting
  • Provide clear, concise updates on project status, timelines, and risks to leadership 
  • Maintain visibility into campaign calendars and key marketing initiatives 
  • Proactively communicate changes, delays, or risks with recommended solutions
 
Qualifications & Requirements:             
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or creative operations
  • Experience managing high-volume marketing campaigns and creative workflows
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with project management and workflow tools (Wrike preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on execution and accountability
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or agency environments is a plus
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus
