Ticket Sales and Services: Ticket Sales Management
Position Summary: 
The Manager, Inside Sales primarily focuses on managing a team of entry-level sales executives and maintaining a focus on revenue generation through the sale of season ticket memberships and group tickets. This position will receive supervision from the VP, Ticket Sales & Services with the expectation to recruit, train, manage and monitor the professional growth and sales success of the Sales Executives.

Essential Functions:
  • Recruit, hire, train and coach sales executives to attain their highest potential
  • Meet or exceed annual sales goal
  • Monitor Sales Executives daily, weekly, and monthly activities
  • Attend appointments weekly with Sales Executives
  • Manage the work schedules of Inside Sales Staff
  • Conduct weekly one on one appointments with Sales Executives to review sales activity
  •  Maintain accurate and detailed records of all current clients and prospects with our CRM system
  • Work scheduled shifts during Marlins home games and other Marlins Park scheduled events
  • Continually create and implement unique sales strategies, ideas and programs as a means of producing new business opportunities
  • Mentor Account Executives to become future sales leaders
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Proven ticket seller with a demonstrated track record of performance
  • High energy and strong work ethic
  • Well-developed influencing, persuasion and negotiation skills

  • Mature, hands-on leader with strong management and organizational experience
  • Projects a positive image as well as inspires trust and credibility with team members

  • Ability to achieve immediate credibility with team members by possessing appropriate composure, confidence, knowledge, clarity and professionalism
  • Communicates clearly and effectively; possesses highly developed collaboration, persuasion, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Keeps senior leadership fully and completely informed of important issues/aspects of sales team performance
  •  Uses appropriate communication tone, manner and channel in all circumstances
  •  Actively listens and acknowledges conflicting points of view; treats all points of view with respect
  • Comfortable making face to face sales presentations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on business, management, sports, sales or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in sales; knowledge of the Miami market as well as experience working in the sports and entertainment industry preferred
  • Proficient at Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics CRM)
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and other ticket sales technologies
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
