Position Summary: 
The Manager of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and long-term planning of loanDepot park.  Working closely with the Senior Director of Facilities, this role ensures that facilities are safe, efficient, well-maintained, and aligned with organizational needs. The Manager will oversee vendor relationships, manage budgets, and drives preventative maintenance programs, capital projects, and compliance initiatives. 

Essential Functions:
• Work closely with Senior Director of Facilities in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and structural elements;
• Conduct regular inspections of all building areas (front/back-of-house, suites, locker rooms, offices, concourses, restrooms, etc.) to ensure cleanliness, safety, and full functionality;
• Develop and manage preventative maintenance and capital replacement schedules to maximize asset life and reduce downtime;
• Oversee and manage 24/7 Command Center Operators and Building Automation System (BAS);
• Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies, including after-hours and weekend incidents;
• Support the development and execution of short- and long-term facilities plans, including capital improvement projects and renovations;
• Manage contract personnel and vendors (general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, etc.);
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety practices are followed at all times;
• Develop and monitor the department’s operating and capital budgets; track expenses, control costs, and recommend efficiencies;
• Lead annual business planning for facilities, including preventative maintenance, capital improvement, and sustainability initiatives (energy conservation, waste diversion, environmentally conscious practices);
• Participate in procurement processes, bids, and proposals; ensure timely and satisfactory completion of contracted work;
• Foster strong communication with executives, project teams, contractors, government officials, and stakeholders;
• Promote superior customer service and operational excellence across all facility activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience);
• 5–7 years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or related field;
• Knowledge of building systems (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, generators, fire pumps, and switchgear); 
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus;
• Experience with maintenance best practices, compliance standards, and vendor management; 
• Experience managing budgets and contracts;
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams;
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Strong communication skills: must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and be attuned to others through strong active listening skills;
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals;
• Must possess a strong ability to manage one’s own time and prioritize tasks when given clearly defined goals and objectives;
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks & projects;
• Must be a flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole;
• Ability to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, HVAC and work order system software.
