The Manager of Event Production supports the planning and technical execution of the in-game entertainment experience at all Marlins home games and loanDepot park special events. This role serves as a key member of the Event Presentation team, primarily focused on live event production and control room execution, with an emphasis on camera directing, content-loading and real-time troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
Live Event Production & Control Room Execution
• Support the Director of Event Presentation & Production in executing the overall show vision and run of show for all home games.
• Direct cameras during live gameplay and stoppages, maintaining strong storytelling, brand integrity and adherence to baseball presentation standards.
• Assist with show calling as needed, ensuring timing and execution remain clean and consistent.
• Oversee content loading, playback readiness and content checks for all in-game elements including video features, graphics, sponsor elements, LED/ribbon boards, and special presentations elements.
• Work closely with control room staff to ensure accurate execution and rapid response to in-game adjustments.
• Troubleshoot production, playback and communication issues in real time to minimize disruption to the live show.
• ·Train and support staff on all technical equipment within the control room.
• Assist with pregame rehearsals, production meetings and postgame reviews to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
Game Presentation & Live Entertainment Support
• Actively contribute to feature and creative brainstorming to support Marlins marketing, sales and partnership obligations.
• Assist in coordinating timing and execution of promotions and live reads in collaboration with Partnerships and PA/host teams.
Content Management & Production Planning
• Manage production materials including scripts, rundowns, cue sheets, and timing documents under the direction of the Director.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all content is delivered, formatted and approved in advance of load-in and game day.
• Assist in maintaining organized content workflows and naming conventions to support efficient control room operations.
• Support load-in days by verifying systems, testing playback, and assisting with technical setup.
Operations
• Serve as a key production liaison between the control room, scoreboard operations, broadcast, event operations, and partnerships
• Support scheduling and supervision of gameday production staff, ensuring clear roles and communication.
• Assist with coordination of vendor and talent logistics related to production and in-game execution.
• Support non-game day events and special initiatives, as scheduled and assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, broadcast production or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in live sports production, game presentation or control room operations, preferably in baseball.
• Demonstrated experience directing cameras and executing live shows in a control room environment.
• Strong understanding of baseball presentation, timing, and in-game flow.
• Working knowledge of Ross and Daktronics production systems; experience with EVS replay systems is a plus.
• Highly organized and strong communicator who works effectively within a team-based production structure.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
