Position Summary
As an Intern in Video & Technology, you will be an essential member of the International Operations team, responsible for capturing and organizing video and data across workouts, showcases, and practices in the Dominican Republic. This role supports the scouting and player evaluation process and requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage equipment and technology effectively. A background in baseball and familiarity with video and player tracking systems will help you succeed in this position.
Essential Functions
• Capture and organize high-quality video using multiple cameras and BATS video software.
• Manage and maintain a video library for tryouts, showcases, workouts, and practices.
• Ensure timely distribution of video to appropriate scouting and front office staff.
• Set up and maintain all video, computer, and technology equipment.
• Operate tools such as Blast, Trackman, Force Plates, Grip Strength sensors, and Timing Gates to collect relevant performance data.
• Collaborate with scouts, Crosscheckers, and Baseball Operations staff to support ongoing projects.
• Assist with administrative tasks and additional projects as assigned by supervisors.

Skill Requirements
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Effective communicator and proactive problem solver.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to relocate and travel with scouting staff.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Baseball background strongly preferred (e.g., college team, summer league, training facility).
• Prior video experience preferred (e.g., BATS, Synergy).
• Experience with baseball technology (e.g., Trackman, Blast, etc.) is highly preferred.
Education & Experience Guidelines
• Prior experience in baseball or softball (playing, coaching, or scouting) is preferred.
• Experience working with sports technology and video systems is an asset.
• Candidates must be eligible and available to fulfill the internship for its full duration.
Work Environment
• Based in assigned international location.
• Field-based and on-site at tryouts, practices, and showcases.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in variable conditions.
• Travel required; must be able to transport and set up equipment independently.
