Position Summary
The Guest Experience Event Staff Supervisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to all Guests during Miami Marlins home games and special events at loanDepot park. This position provides on-site leadership and operational support to the Guest Experience Department, ensuring smooth event operations, staff coordination, and a positive fan experience throughout the venue.
Essential Functions
Exterior Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
· Supervise and support a designated team of ticket takers and other exterior Guest Experience staff.
· Assist ticket takers with ticket scanners and resolve Guest entry issues.
· Enforce all loanDepot park entry policies and procedures.
· Prepare and distribute ticket scanners and radios prior to staff arrival.
· Assist with stroller check-in operations.
· Support promotional giveaway distribution at venue entrances on designated dates.
Interior Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
· Supervise ushers, elevator attendants, and escalator attendants.
· Conduct regular check-ins with staff to provide guidance and address Guest concerns.
· Coordinate and schedule staff breaks to maintain proper coverage during events.
· Enforce all loanDepot park rules and procedures.
· Assist with pre-game briefings for usher staff.
· Support Game Day operations as assigned, including box office support, premium entrances, seating assistance, and fan engagement initiatives (e.g., surprise and delight moments).
Additional Responsibilities:
· Train staff on ticket verification, customer service standards, and venue layout.
· Manage escalated Guest issues and complaints professionally and efficiently.
· Maintain clear communication with event organizers, security, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with large crowds.
· Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage confrontational situations calmly.
· Reliable and flexible availability, including approximately 92% of Marlins home games, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and remain standing for extended periods.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting.
Education & Experience
· High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred.
· Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
