Position Summary:
The Enterprise Technology Strategist drives the organization’s enterprise-wide technology and transformation strategy, ensuring that platforms, applications, and processes align with business priorities while enabling scalability and innovation. This role leads modernization initiatives that enhance system resilience, simplify the technology landscape, and promote new ways of working.
A key focus of the position is to accelerate the adoption of AI and intelligent automation —selecting the right tools, improving organizational fluency, and ensuring meaningful business outcomes. Acting as a strategic link between business and technology, this role champions future-ready solutions that strengthen operational capabilities and power enterprise transformation.
Essential Functions:
Technology Strategy & Enterprise Leadership
• Define and lead the organization’s technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth;
• Establish and enforce standards and design patterns that guide enterprise decision-making;
• Provide strategic oversight for system design, integration, and lifecycle management;
• Lead modernization of legacy platforms through scalable, cloud-based, and modular solutions;
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with executives, business stakeholders, and technology leaders to ensure initiatives deliver enterprise value;
• Build trusted relationships across departments to position IT as a strategic enabler and innovation partner;
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to resolve complex challenges and accelerate solution delivery;
• Translate strategic and architectural decisions into actionable guidance for all audiences;
AI & Innovation Enablement
• Champion the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI use cases that drive measurable business outcomes;
• Partner with business units to improve AI literacy, foster adoption, and scale the use of intelligent automation tools;
• Serve as a thought leader on emerging AI and technology trends, ensuring the enterprise maintains a forward-looking innovation posture and competitive edge;
Governance & Best Practices
• Establish and oversee governance frameworks for technology decision-making that ensure security, compliance, and agility;
• Define and sustain enterprise standards that promote architectural consistency and quality;
• Promote adoption of scorecards and KPIs to measure progress toward modernization goals;
• Ensure documentation, communication, and training drive awareness and adoption of enterprise standards;
Culture & Capability Building
• Lead by influence—promoting collaboration, curiosity, and accountability across the organization;
• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement;
• Mentor and empower teams to build fluency in modern technology practices, AI, and automation;
Suggested Education & Experience Guidelines:
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred;
• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience with emphasis on enterprise strategy;
• Experience with AI platforms, machine learning, and automation tools;
• Proven success leading modernization and automation initiatives delivering measurable business outcomes;
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives and influence at all organizational levels;
• Strong expertise in networking, systems architecture, cloud (GCP/Azure), and modern workplace technology;
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent communication skills with executive and external partners.
