Overview
The Miami Marlins are building AI capabilities across the organization and looking for an AI Workflow & Automation Specialist to help drive that transformation. This role focuses on improving productivity, streamlining workflows, and enhancing decision-making by applying AI within day-to-day business processes.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take defined priorities and insights, translate them into clear requirements, and deliver practical solutions—balancing structured execution with rapid iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to refine workflows, validate requirements, and implement solutions aligned to defined priorities
- Translate existing and undiscovered observations and strategic direction into clear, actionable requirements and working solutions
- Rapidly design and implement AI-enabled solutions to solve real business problems
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems (Salesforce and Notion required; other platforms as needed)
- Develop scalable workflows, prompt frameworks, and lightweight automations
- Support sales and revenue functions through AI-driven insights (pipeline visibility, reporting, forecasting support)
- Enable cross-system data access by surfacing insights across multiple platforms
- Operate with a test-and-learn mindset—iterating quickly once aligned on requirements
- Drive adoption by training and supporting teams in applying AI within their daily work
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise systems analysis, workflow optimization, systems integration, and operational process improvement within complex business environments.
- Additionally, candidates should possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience applying AI, automation, and intelligent business technologies to improve enterprise workflows, reporting, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (practical experience strongly valued)
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Copilot)
- Experience with Salesforce and Notion required
- Strong understanding of APIs, data structures, and system integrations
- Ability to translate business context into clear requirements and executable solutions
- Bias toward execution with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance structured thinking with rapid iteration
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
