The Wilmington Blue Rocks are looking for an energetic and outgoing individual to serve as the on-field host for the 2026 season. This person will be expected to engage with fans, not only during live promotions, but also throughout the game to enhance the overall fan experience. In addition, this individual will be expected to work with the members of the production team to ensure successful execution of all scripted promotions.
The ideal candidate is personable, confident in front of a camera and a live crowd. This position is part-time seasonal from April-September.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary host for in-stadium promotions and events at Blue Rocks home games
- Lead live games, contests, and other promotions, as assigned, with a high level of energy
- Engage with fans throughout the ballpark at all times – not just when the camera is on
- Work with the production and game day promotions teams to ensure smooth execution of all promotions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior on-mic experience required
- Excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to ad-lib
- Energetic and family-friendly personality
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and some summer holidays
