The Gameday Production Assistant will assist the Wilmington Blue Rocks by elevating our broadcast and media portfolio by capturing gameday moments on video, and photos, during the 2026 season. The ideal candidate has an interest in broadcast, photo and video production. This role will working in conjunction with our control room staff, under our Director of Creative & Web Services, to record and capture content for our fans from inside the control room and around the ballpark.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with creative services to help formulate photo and video-based content shown on the Blue Rocks website, social media accounts, within the ballpark and on the broadcast.
- Collaborate and assist our Marketing Manager to help capture photos and videos of players before and during games for usage in future production and evergreen content.
- Assist in control room operations during select home games including stadium music, replay operations, camera operations, pitch clock operations or scoreboard operations based on needs.
- Coordinate with the Creative & Media Services Assistant to utilize Diamond software to capture TV broadcast clips for future video content projects.
- Be a positive brand ambassador and always represent the Blue Rocks in a professional manner.
- Other Duties as assigned by General Manager or any other member of Senior Management.
Additional Game Day and Event Responsibilities:
- Assist in cataloging creative assets (photos, videos) to be utilized for various creative service projects.
- Contribute to the creation of the content production calendar for upcoming homestands.
- Assist in the production/creation of evergreen content for usage during games and on non-game days.
- Coordinate with creative services to ideate, create and gather content for graphics and videos.
- Other Duties as assigned by General Manager or any other member of Senior Management.
This is a seasonal role that runs over the course of the 2026 season. This role will be paid at an hourly rate for up to 40 hours each homestand week and a reduction of hours during weeks the team is on the road. You will be expected to work each home game as an assistant.
