The Wilmington Blue Rocks are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, and motivated individuals to join the 50/50 Raffle Team for the 2026 regular season.
The job of a 50/50 Raffle Seller includes actively selling, handling and distributing 50/50 raffle tickets to guests as a roaming sales representative. This position is an hourly, seasonal position that includes nights, weekends and some holidays during the spring and summer.
Position Overview
- Engage fans before and during games to promote and sell 50/50 Raffle tickets
- Clearly communicate details and charitable impact of funds raised
- Create a welcoming and energetic fan experience throughout the ballpark
- Accurately process raffle ticket sales and print slips for customers
- Be accountable for any cash transactions, ensuring that cash on hand matches the transaction log at each night’s reconciliation
- Accurately answer questions regarding the raffle in a professional and friendly manner
Ideal Candidate
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse fan base
- Prior experience handling credit cards or point-of-sale transactions preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays, if necessary
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and work throughout the stadium
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude when interacting with fans and other employees.
- May be required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit as needed
