The Wilmington Blue Rocks interns will assist the ticket operations department achieve all individual and department revenue goals. Candidates should have a strong focus to work in the field of sports entertainment and ticket sales.
Ideal candidates must be outgoing, friendly, courteous, and professional in an atmosphere of many distractions and demands. They must also have strong communication, computer, and organizational skills, excellent customer service background, and knowledge of the baseball industry.
General Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all our fans
- Phone solicitation
- Order and payment processing
- Daily mailing of tickets and related materials
- Responsible for handling both walk-up and phone-in ticket sales
- Assist group sales with target nights as requested
- Assist other departments as needed with special projects
Game Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist customers in a friendly yet timely manner
- Assist with Will Call as needed
- Answer customer questions relating to tickets
Internships are paid an hourly wage and are eligible for college credits.
