The Modesto Roadsters are seeking an enthusiastic individual for the position of Group Sales Account Executive. The ideal candidate is responsible for selling group tickets, suite rentals, hospitality packages, and other group experience initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
· Maintain and manage a list of potential business opportunities
· Conduct sales calls to area businesses, non-profits and other entities as it pertains to group events; follow up as necessary
· Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
· Set appointments and communicate with all prospects with the intent to close business
· Collaborate with other front office staff to achieve team goals and objectives as they pertain to sales, attendance, marketing, tickets and community exposure
· Provide excellent customer service at all times
· Execute group contracts and deliver tickets to group customers
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
· Prior sports and/or baseball sales experience preferred
· Prior sales and/or event management experience
· A working knowledge of ticketing and CRM systems; previous experience with Glitnir Ticketing is a plus
· Ability to present sales material to potential clients
· Excellent customer service skills
· Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Programs
· The ability (and willingness) to work varied and non-traditional hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:
The expected compensation for this role is $22 per hour. This is a full-time non-exempt role (40 hours per week). Offer package will include the following:
