Associate Program Summary: 

The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Associates Program is designed to further support the mission of LADF by assisting with the foundation’s work across all of its functional areas: development, programs, and operations. Associates also actively engage with the local community and expand the reach of the organization’s impact throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.  

The LADF Associates Program is a highly competitive, paid, year-long program designed to provide college, graduate, and recent graduate students with both professional and personal development in a nonprofit sports team foundation setting. While Associates will have a specific department focus, they will work across all LADF’s departments, gaining insight into its programs, development, and operations.  

We are seeking individuals who align with our mission and core values and are ready to join us in this exciting and important work.  

Please note that the 2026 Associates Program will be in-person and will follow all LA County health and safety guidelines. This is a seasonal, part-time position.

LADF Offices are located at 100 N. Crescent Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, additional work locations may include Dodger Stadium and within the greater Los Angeles community.

Organization Summary:
Under its strategic plan, “Lasting Impact for Los Angeles,” the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) is amplifying best practices, scaling solutions, growing its capacity, and refining its work with investments exceeding $76 million in its programs and grants to local organizations. To date, LADF has positively impacted over 11 million youth. Position Summary:

The Operations department is seeking two Associate roles:

Marketing & Operations (M&O)

The Marketing & Operations Associate plays an important role in supporting LADF’s visibility strategy through creative content development, social media support, and strong operations. This position assists with day-to-day content creation, digital engagement, and amplification of LADF’s mission and impact. 

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about using marketing to elevate awareness, inspire engagement, and celebrate LADF’s community. Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications, this role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, digital storytelling, and content production within a dynamic, mission-driven organization. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Support social media planning and content development across LADF platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Draft and schedule social media posts, email content, and internal marketing materials in alignment with LADF’s strategic calendar.
  • Assist in designing marketing assets using Canva (and/or Adobe Creative Suite if proficient).
  • Help track and organize digital performance metrics using LADF’s tools and templates.
  • Contribute to email marketing efforts, digital fundraising campaigns, and newsletter preparation.
  • Capture and curate content at community events, activations, and special moments (photos, short videos, testimonials).
  • Help collect and organize stories highlighting LADF’s impact, partners, scholars, and program participants.
  • Assist with short-form video creation and editing for social media and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize LADF’s photo and video libraries for easy access and archival.
  • Support storytelling projects, including scholar spotlights, donor features, and community highlights.
  • Support all LADF activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Operations
The Operations Associate will provide vital support across executive, event, and operational functions. This role will work closely with LADF’s Operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, effective event execution, and strong internal support. Duties include executive assistance, office support, processing check requests, event logistics, and supporting LADF’s Associate Program development. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to LADF’s mission of tackling the most pressing problems facing Los Angeles while gaining broad experience in nonprofit management, events, and philanthropy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to support the Operations team meeting preparation, follow-up, VIP handling at events, and special projects.
  • Support general office needs, including supplies, equipment, and organization.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and partners, providing a warm, professional, and organized front desk experience reflective of LADF’s values of excellence and hospitality.
  • Support day-to-day office management, including mail distribution, phone and visitor coordination, and maintenance of a clean and efficient workspace.
  • Assist with scheduling and room setup for internal meetings and external guests to ensure seamless office and event operations.
  • Support professional development programming for LADF Associates, including coordinating speakers, and tracking participation.
  • Help maintain internal systems, ie. Operations Workbook requests, shared drives and Operating Manual.
  • Help prepare staff meetings, retreats, and organizational culture-building initiatives.
  • Support all LADF activities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements & Qualifications 

  • Strong interest in philanthropy, nonprofit management, or community development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in database management, CRM systems, or grant platforms preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Prior experience in research, administrative support, or project coordination is a plus.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Current student OR within one-year post-graduation.
  • Must live, work, and have reliable transportation in Los Angeles for the duration of the program.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to advancing LADF’s mission.
  • 1–2 years of experience or coursework in marketing, communications, social media, or storytelling (internship or project-based experience accepted).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an understanding of tone and brand voice.
  • Proficiency in Canva; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) a plus.
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
