The Strike Force excels at fan first promotional engagement providing professional, enthusiastic, family-friendly experiences on both multi-media platforms and face-to-face interactions to reflect the core values of Angels Baseball.
Strike Force executes various tasks at Angels Baseball home games as well as at a variety of community events. Game presentation activities include t-shirt launches, prize giveaways, crowd prompts and trivia contests performed live on the stadium's video board. The hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00. This position is also eligible for sick time (after 90 days of employment), 401k employee contribution participation after 3 months of employment, and complimentary tickets to games (12 per season).
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be willing to devote a large percentage of time to the Strike Force, including availability for all designated home games, community appearances and other mandatory events in and around Southern California.
- Candidates must have a flexible schedule for weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Candidates must be comfortable performing activities and interacting with fans on camera in front of 40,000+ people.
- Prior performance and/or entertainment experience preferred.
- Dance/Cheer experience is a plus.
- Candidates must have outstanding communication skills and a positive, energetic personality. Must provide quick and professional responses in any situation.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and courteous. Good listening skills and ability to work with brief instruction.
- Knowledge of the game of baseball is preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs
- Ability to walk on uneven floors
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
