Job Title: Trainee – Motion Graphics
Job Summary: The Kansas City Royals are seeking a Motion Graphics Trainee to join our Content Creation Team. In this role, you will assist in creating animations that align with our branding standards and engage our fans. Your work could be showcased across multiple platforms, including in-stadium, broadcast, and social media. Candidates must be self-motivated and open to collaboration. You must be proficient in After Effects, have a good sense of motion and an eye for design. If you're passionate about motion graphics and eager to grow your skills, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Revise projects created by other artists across the Adobe Creative Suite. Producing new exports as required
- Use After Effects to fulfill a wide variety of motion graphics/animation requests
- Develop additional design assets based on Kansas City Royals' branding
- Create energetic and engaging video loops
- Balance multiple projects at once
- Deliver consistent brand standards across all projects and platforms
- Composite and Roto Footage
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Strong skills in Adobe After Effects are essential
· Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere
- Creative problem solving
- High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects at once
· Must be team-oriented; possess a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and ability to collaborate with others
- Good time management skills to meet deadlines
- Willingness to accept feedback and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Mac OS
- One-Year commitment
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds
· Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday
· Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
· Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
· Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
· Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
