Job Title: Manager – Parking & Transportation
Job Summary: Position is responsible for hiring, training, and supervising 100+ active game day staff members, and developing and maintaining an effective game day Parking & Transportation and Staffing Plans. Responsible for collection, processing, and reconciliation of all parking revenues. Assists with other Ballpark Operations duties when not focused on parking as assigned.
Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
- Continue and develop complex-wide parking and transportation plan. This plan should be tailored to specific events and size of events
- Develop budget for Parking, Transportation, and Tollgate
- Manage a team of seasonal event staff employees, including hiring, terminating, motivating, and disciplining as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all parking and transportation needs are met
- Ensure Guest Service Program is implemented
- Ensure procedures are followed to collect age receipts, and ensure that receipts are recorded, reconciled, and reported to VP of Ballpark Operations
- Develop parking passes and hang tag for each new season
- Other duties as needed
Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
· Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with 2 years Supervisory experience in the sports or entertainment industry
· Work independently without close supervision
· Flexible and adaptable to change
· Able to work irregular hours including holidays, weekends, evening, and game events
· Maintain professional attitude that is customer-service oriented
· Effective writing, telephone, and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds
· Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
· Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
· Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
· Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
