Job Summary: The Kansas City Royals are hosting auditions to become a member of the 2026 KCrew!
KCrew is looking for individuals who are energetic, athletic and comfortable in front of large crowds and serve as ambassadors for the Kansas City Royals. Candidates must also be capable of executing simple dance choreography, collaborate well in a team environment, have exceptional communication skills and knowledge about the Royals and the game of baseball!

Candidate Requirements:
- KCrew will serve as a focal point on gamedays to keep the crowd on their feet, and entertain throughout the game; as well as going out in the community to create a lifelong impact on Royals fans
- Have an outgoing, positive, and engaging personality, that loves to interact with fans, and works well with others
- Ability to perform in front of a crowd (i.e. choreographed dance moves, t-shirt tosses, dance cams, high energy moments, etc.)
- Have adequate stamina and fitness level to perform athletic activities in the summer heat
- Training in dance, cheer, theatre/performance, on-camera and/or broadcasting are an asset
- Currently enrolled or graduate of post-secondary programs in Dance, Marketing, Radio & Television, Sport Management, or Early Childhood Education are an asset
- Knowledge of the game of baseball and the Kansas City Royals is preferred
- Candidates must be 19 years of age or older by March 30th, 2026, to be considered (valid photo I.D. required)
Commitment:
· Be willing to devote a large percentage of time to the KCrew program, including attendance at mandatory rehearsals, designated games, community events, and other appearances in and around the Kansas City area
· Candidates selected will be required to attend mandatory meetings/games including but not limited to: Introduction to KCrew (early January), Photoshoot, KCrew 101, rehearsals (evenings of March 23rd – 28th) and Opening Day (March 30th). Mandatory dates will be given after the team has been decided.
· Be available for an off-season event(s)
- All members must have flexible schedules and be available for nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be available to work at least 41 home games
Audition Information
2026 KCrew auditions will be two days and invite only. Friday will be group auditions where applicants get to know each other and practice simple hype and dance moments. Saturday, each invited applicant will be one-on-one with the judges in an interview like setting.

Friday, November 21st & Saturday, November 22nd at Kauffman Stadium
Audition Day 1
· Friday, November 21st, 6:00 – 9:00 PM
· Check-in begins at 5:00 PM
Audition Day 2
· Saturday, November 22nd, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
· Check-in begins at 7:30 AM

Arrival Information:
· Enter through any parking gate
· Park in Lot M, located between both stadiums
· Enter the stadium through Homeplate Gate C to find the check-in table
What to Wear:
· Athletic clothing you can move in (i.e., tank tops and skirts/leggings for women and t-shirt and shorts/joggers for men)
· Athletic shoes
· Performance-ready hair and make-up

Candidates will be judged on the following at auditions:
· Team spirit, personality, and enthusiasm
· Ability to work within a team
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Royals and baseball knowledge
· Ability to perform in front of a crowd (i.e., choreographed dance moves, t-shirt tosses, dance cams, high energy moments, etc.)
· Ability to positively represent the Royals brand
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds
· Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
· Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
· Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

This role is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt opportunity that is not eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. The schedule for this position is dependent on our team schedule and is subject to change.
