Job Summary: Assist Kansas City Royals Event Presentation and Production staff with the implementation of pre-game and in-game promotions, fulfilling sponsorship commitments, and the execution of special events taking place on non-game days and game days while displaying an energetic, enthusiastic, friendly, and
outgoing attitude.   
  
Accountabilities:    
  • Royals Home Games  
  • Pre-game activities     
  • Receive duties and instructions for game during pre-game meeting  
  • Set-up and execute pre-game ceremonies, activities and performances   
  • Assist in-stadium emcees with pre-game show, "Royals Countdown"   
  • Select contestants for pre-game and in-game contests  
  • In-game activities    
  • Set-up and execute in-game contests, promotions and features  
  • Assist in-stadium emcees with in-game contests     
  • Post-game activities    
  • Assist with any scheduled post-game ceremonies or performances  
  • Wrap-up meeting and clean space as needed     
  •  Special Events  
  • Set-up, prepare and execute ceremonies, contests and performances 
  • Tear down and clean up

Requirements:   
  • 18+ and a high school graduate by January 1, 2020  
  • Candidates must have reliable transportation and live in or close to the Kansas City area   
  • Knowledge of the game of baseball is preferred   
  • No candidate may presently be affiliated with or be a representative of any other semi-professional or professional athletic franchise   
  • The ability to work in and enjoy a fast pace environment   
  • Flexible evening/weekend/holiday schedule   
  • Good communication skills   
  • Ability to take direction, think on his/her feet, and stay calm in stressful situations while displaying first class customer service   
  • Must be able to carry/move/handle 15 pounds   
  • Self-starter, pro-active, highly motivated, and detail oriented
