Job Title: Coordinator – Game Entertainment                                      

Job Summary: The Game Entertainment Coordinator will assist in creating the most engaging and exciting game presentation in Major League Baseball for the Kansas City Royals. This role assists with the fulfillment of pre-game and in-game activations including entertainment teams, scheduling talent and on-field stage management. Responsibilities will include working closely with the Manager of Game Entertainment to help manage the Kauffman Stadium game entertainment experience.

Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
·         Serve as Lead Field Manager overseeing the live element execution for Royals home games
·         Manage all aspects of our entertainment team, the ‘KCrew,’ including game and outside appearance schedules, uniform selection and gameday duties
·         Plan, organize and execute pre-game and in-game live hits to help drive fan engagement
·         Assist in management of our game day support team, ‘Game Crew,’ and additional entertainment staff including Ballpark DJ and In-Stadium Hosts
·         Assist with the creation and development of game day ‘run of shows’ and public address announcements 
·         Schedule and coordinating National Anthems, color guards and any additional talent for Royals home games
·         Collaborate with Events & Activations team to execute game entertainment elements for Theme Nights and Special Events
·         Serve as Game Day Producer for select games as needed
·         Actively participate in the creative vision, development, and execution of the gameday experience at Kauffman Stadium
·         Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
·         Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with minimum of two years live entertainment experience
·         Experience in professional sports and knowledge of baseball is preferred
·         Proactive and highly organized with extreme attention to detail
·         Demonstrate the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously, meet fast deadlines and anticipate next steps without direction
·         Must be a creative, pro-active and highly motivated
·         Strong written and interpersonal communication skills while maintaining a professional manner
·         Proficient with MS Office Suite and have working knowledge of Shoflo
·         Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements: 
·         Ability to lift items weighing as much as 15 pounds 
·         Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephone
·         Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times
·         Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus
·         Must be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.
·         Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling

 This role is a Full-Time, Exempt opportunity that is eligible for Company Benefits, 401K, and PTO. This role is expected to have a standard 40-hour work week.
