Job Description:
- Manage security at stadium entrances and greet fans as they arrive, including, but not limited to running walk-through & hand-held metal detectors, asking fans to empty their pockets, checking bags, discarding prohibited items, etc.
- Experience using walk-through metal detectors & hand-held metal detectors preferred
- Look for banned items and direct fans to return those items to their car or discard in the trash before entering the stadium
- Enforce the Clear Bag Policy at NBT Bank Stadium & direct fans with prohibited bags to return them to their car
- Monitor NBT Bank Stadium during games and other stadium events to ensure the safety and security of fans
- Monitor NBT Bank Stadium entrances & parking lot to ensure a secure facility and surrounding areas
- Security Guards may be required to interact and engage with fans violating the code of conduct and properly remove them from the situation, or the stadium if necessary
- Provide excellent customer service to everyone at NBT Bank Stadium
- Help fans with directions & finding their seats/different areas of the stadium
- Assist in the set up/tear down of security areas for each event
- Must be available to work nights, weekends & holidays from April-September
- Assist with all other duties as needed
- Must be a New York State certified Security Guard or willing to complete the New York State certified Security Guard Training program if hired.
- Rate of pay: $17/hour
