Job Summary:
Join the SWB RailRiders as a HitTrax Attendant and help deliver a fun, interactive baseball experience for fans on game days. Located on the concourse near the left field foul pole, the HitTrax attraction allows guests to take live swings and track their results using advanced baseball technology. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with fans, technology, and baseball-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the HitTrax batting system during games and events.
- Assist guests with purchasing swings and explain how the HitTrax system works.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules and guidelines.
- Reset equipment and prepare the system between users.
- Perform setup before games and cleanup after games, including equipment breakdown and storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming HitTrax area throughout events.
- Provide friendly customer service and help create a positive fan experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfort working with basic technology and electronic equipment.
- Interest in baseball and fan engagement activities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment during setup and cleanup.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist guests of all ages.
- Flexible availability – must be able to work game days, including weekends and night games.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
