Reports to: Manager, Stadium Operations
Job Summary:
Join the SWB RailRiders as a Bat Boy/Girl and experience professional baseball up close while supporting the team on game days. This on-field role plays an important part in the smooth operation of games by assisting players, coaches, and umpires with essential equipment and game-day needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve and return bats for players throughout the game.
- Collect and organize baseballs, batting helmets, and other on-field equipment.
- Assist with keeping dugouts clean and organized.
- Support players, coaches, and umpires as needed during games.
- Be alert and attentive to game action at all times to ensure safety.
- Follow all safety guidelines and instructions from Stadium Operations staff.
- Assist with pre-game and post-game field and equipment needs as assigned.

- Enthusiasm for baseball and interest in being part of the game-day experience.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to stand, walk, and react quickly for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible availability – must be able to work game days, including weekends and night games.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
