Position Overview:
The Nashville Sounds are seeking an outgoing and enthusiastic On-Field Host to serve as the in-game personality for First Horizon Park for the 2026 season. This role will report to the Director of Entertainment and is responsible for enhancing the fan experience, leading on-field promotions, and creating an exciting game day environment that aligns with the Nashville Sounds brand.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Execute on-field and in-stand contests, from leading interactive fan games and relaying announcements to welcoming the crowd to participate along
  • Announce sponsor messages, promotional announcements and special recognitions in a manner that is both clear and engaging
  • Work alongside game day Promotions Team and Production Crew to execute pre-, post- and in-game entertainment and sponsored activations
  • Communicate clearly on a microphone in front of crowds of 10,000+ fans
  • Interact with fans of all ages, contestants, and promotional partners throughout the ballpark in a personable and family-friendly manner
  • Bring an enthusiastic demeanor and strong vocal presence to each game to elevate the fan experience

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays from March to September.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with exposure to outdoor elements
  • Excellent verbal communications skills with the ability to think quickly and improvise in the live-event environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment while adhering to directions and guidelines from a supervisor
  • Live in Nashville, TN or the middle Tennessee area
  • Prior experience in hosting, emceeing, theater, broadcasting, live entertainment, or crowd engagement strongly preferred
  • Passion for sports and general knowledge of baseball preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) - preferred not required

Auditions will be held at First Horizon Park the week of February 9, 2026.
